![]() The armature, or "skeleton", for the bronze Bugler statue is being formed. This will serve as the framework for the sculped clay shape from which the casting mold will be made. |
![]() Mesh now covers the armature and the hands are formed. It is ready for the clay to be applied over the mesh, which will define the final detailed form. |

![]() The application of clay reveals the beginnings of the bugler's final form. For the first time the artist is beginning to feel the bugler's actual form as it evolves over the wire mesh and the mesh becomes one with the clay. |
