January 2023 Bugler Statue Castings Ready for Assembly



December 18, 2017 The armature, or "skeleton", for the bronze Bugler statue is being formed. This will serve as the framework for the sculped clay shape from which the casting mold will be made.		February 19, 2018 Mesh now covers the armature and the hands are formed. It is ready for the clay to be applied over the mesh, which will define the final detailed form.

May 31, 2018 The application of clay reveals the beginnings of the bugler's final form. For the first time the artist is beginning to feel the bugler's actual form as it evolves over the wire mesh and the mesh becomes one with the clay.		August 21, 2018 Finer detail is being resolved. Sidearm and belt appear now, as well as boot definition. Trouser blousing is next.

October 15, 2018 Progress becomes very obvious as more detail emerges this month and the bugler's form is further refined.		November 19, 2018

January 21, 2019 The defining refinements are coming to life.		June 17, 2019 Almost ready for the rubber mold to be made.

January 20, 2020 The M-1 rifle is ready for mold preparation.		October 31, 2020 Bugler ready for the mold making
