Mementos | Sgt. Stoney's death in Normandy was brought
to our attention by a private researcher, Valeria Gallone,
living in Andora, Italy. She provided us with three of the
photos seen here, plus an amazing account of his fate and
her fascinating mystical connection with this Butte County soldier.
(read Ms. Gallone's story) We only had this snippet of information on Sgt. Stoney, found by Stu Shaner, until we were contacted by Ms. Gallone in 2012. Sgt. Stoney's grave marker in Normandy |
